ABOUT THE UNIT

What we do

The Community (Public) Health Unit regulates and supports disease prevention and health promotion carried out by the RDHS offices of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa through 30 MOH areas.

It is led by the Medical Officer (Community Health), with the Regional Supervising Public Health Nursing Officer and the Supervising Public Health Inspector.

Run by the Community Health Unit to help prevent and control non-communicable diseases.
